Easy to read, and focuses on one strategy rather than going all over the place like some investment authors. I completely enjoy every one of Mr. Kratter's books, and the Investment University is a wonderful bonus. Matt Kratter is approachable, provides affordable books, returns emails, and answers questions which is unbelievably rare for an author. I alway look forward to additional books.
Another Terrific book by Matthew Kratter. An easy read outlining a compelling strategy to generate monthly income by trading Options. If you understand the fundamentals of Options, you will quickly learn his approach to the powerful leverage of Puts and Calls. I have read each of his books and have learned several strategies from each.
I have yet to put his principles into practice but after reading the book, I could say that Matthew is is one of those enlightened authors that has a feel for what a trader or aspiring trader wants in a trading book. I have bought several trading books in Amazon already and so far there are only two authors who I have come across that has this uncanny ability to put only what is needed, Matthew Kratter and Andrew Aziz (How to Day Trade for A Living).I hope other trading authors pick up from Kratter and Aziz's style of writing and avoid injecting fluff in their pages. Again, just for the writing style for now) I would give this book 5 stars.
If you are new to options trading, this book is replete with understandable descriptions of complex trading strategies. You don’t have to trade these exact strategies, however, to learn from this book. This book helps one to kind of “get in the rhythm “ of option trading; in the zone, as it were. A good place to be.
Kratter is probably the most underrated author in this genre of stock books. His simplistic approach probably gets scoffed at more than it should. I have sat thru a 5 hour tutorial on condors and afterwards didn't have a clue what was just informed to me. 25 pages into this book I had a firm grasp on what they were and how they work. I always tend to buy these big text books on various trading subjects but always go back to whatever Kratter has wrote on the subject for a better explanation. I feel the approach is giving the reader the foundation and its on them what strategy to implement. I love this approach.
This was a fast read without a lot of fluff. Just the needed information. I really like the "poor man's covered call" strategy. Using it with other methods described in the book will help the reader who wants to achieve financial freedom. Good luck to all.
Nothing precise. I was expecting a well written tabular format profit and loss for each scenario. Common Mathew, People are not kids. You got to explain each scenario with date and time specified clearly . Very bad. You need to be ashamed of yourself for NOT presenting a complete picture. For example when you mention expiration. you need to mention expiration of long position or short position. Without that its CONFUSING. . Add number in Profit and Loss tabular format.. Sad. the book is poorly written.
Does not really go in depth with any particular strategy so the title is a little deceptive. The only monthly cash machine is writing Amazon e-books.
