This was helpful when planning my trip to Copenhagen (an incredible city!). One note is that the museum near the Copenhagen train station that is listed as Free on Sunday changed its schedule. It's now free on Tuesday I believe (they had too many people reading these books and trying to get in on Sunday so they changed the schedule).
This book has been super helpful in planning an upcoming trip. Lots of great info on things to do, where to stay, etc. Even a nice pull-out map in the back. We've already used the map several times to sort of get a feel for where things are located in the city. This book has helped me get more excited about the trip! This book also provided several interesting ideas of things to do and see - and has given reasonable expectations of 1, 2, and 3-day itineraries.
Overall - very good. but too much emphasis on Copenhagen area not enough on norther Jutland area.
Honestly I was expecting a lot more pictures. The description says there are color maps and pictures throughout! But really it’s mostly just maps and words. So if you’re interested in learning about Denmark and want a visual guide, look elsewhere because this book will not satisfy.
I was looking for a guide about Copenhagen but I couldn't find it, and I had to buy a guide for the whole country.The city is not enormous and so the guide is fair enough for a weekend in the capital city of Denmark.Lonely Planet is always a guarantee.
The quality of writing in this guide is poor. It is at times distracting and takes away from trip planning.
Was essential to our trip to Copenhagen, very well done.
Personally, I did not like the organization of the book. Information is scattered throughout the book in a way that is difficult to follow.Graphics and photos are great!
