Its not only little boys who like stories about monsters and farting....combine the two and even little girls will enjoy the read. My 7 year old granddaughter read the first "My Monster Farts" in the Spring of 2014 and just laughed and laughed. So, when I say this title was available I just had to get it. Erin immediately fell for both Lenny (the monster) and Zack. And, when the two plot to trick a mean substitute teacher the entire class benefits.
Just say the word, Farts, and the kids laugh. My grandson is going to be in the first grade. Every time he read the word Fart out loud he would laugh. Let them read what makes them laugh.
My 4 year old granddaughter laughs over and over with these books. I usually don't encourage the farting books BUT this is different too cute. Kids love farting books so as a retired teacher I decided to go with it and glad I did.
My 7 yr old loves the lenny monster fart stories. They make her giggle with laughter! I recommend this book for ages 6 to 8.
Monsters, farts and plots to annoy your teacher. What is not to love?? Any kid will get into this. Enjoy!
I chose a low rating because the teacher may of been mean but really do you need to be mean back? Couldn't the book have ended differently?
My daughter loves to read this book. Also she laughs at the monster's farts. Great read for a kid.
As the title states - the book's main focus is on stinky monster farts. This seems to be a rather popular niche for kids' books . I've read better books in this niche although this one may amuse kids that have a deep fascination with farting monsters.
